     A wise person once said "You never get a second chance to make a first impression".  It has been attributed to many great men through history, but regardless of who said it first, it words ring true.  Whether it is meeting a new friend, colleague or client it still carries the same weight.

     The reality is, your business  branding and consistency IS that chance with your future clients.  It's your business card,  your ad or website that says who you are - and that takes authority, professionalism and branding consistency.  Branding consistency customized for your company, that speaks volumes about you.

     People are very visual, and let's face it, we live in a culture of instant gratification.  Smart phones, tablets and offer an uninterrupted flow of information, information that shows us the nearest coffee shop, cheapest gas station or veterinary clinic.  If you have a business, no matter how small, you need to tap into that resource, place your business square in that flow of information.  You want it to be your business they see when they perform that search, but if you aren't  in the ranks, or your site isn't kept up to date,  more likely than not, you will be passed over for one that is.  An outdated, unresponsive or improperly focused site can do you more harm than good.

       If a website looks outdated, confusing or unbalanced, they will move on to the next until they find a site that imparts that look, feel and content that portrays the type of business they want to do business with.  It isn't just about having a website, it's about having a great website for desktop and mobile devices.
